How It Works
The magic starts when water cascades over the evaporator plate, filling individual cube cells where it then freezes. A fan-generated airflow cools the R404A refrigerant across the refrigerant lines, efficiently chilling the evaporator. This process culminates in the formation of ice cubes. The harvest cycle kicks in when water interacts with the ice probe for 7 seconds, initiating a sequence where a hot-gas valve opens to release hot refrigerant, slightly warming the evaporator plate to dislodge the ice cubes.
