The E65W Grind-by-Sync espresso grinder features the groundbreaking technology of The Sync System. The E65W Grind-by-Sync is a significant evolution of the E65S Grind-by-Weight, showcasing remarkable new features and delivering the ultimate innovation in efficient workflows and consistent coffee quality.

Equipped with cloud-enabled connectivity*, the E65W GbS offers an electrical adjustment of the burr distance. This adjustment can still be precisely controlled manually by the barista or, when synchronized with a compatible La Marzocco espresso machine in AV or ABR configuration, it automatically aligns with the target extraction time. The E65W GbS incorporates an intelligent algorithm, enhancing its ability to manage burr distance with precision, ensuring the perfect extraction every time.

Grind-by-Weight Technology

Featuring the popular Grind-by-Weight (GbW) technology, allowing for precise dosing and ensuring accurate, repeatable doses, eliminating issues like over or under-dosing. Unlike traditional volume or timer-based methods, GbW uses a high-precision load cell to weigh the coffee grounds 6,000 times per second during grinding to deliver consistent, high-quality extractions and exceptional flavor in every cup.

Higher Automation & Precision

Automated, fully electrical transitions between grind recipes, adjusting seamlessly based on stored profiles. The AGSA feature provides precise control over grind fineness, ensuring perfect espresso consistency. This system uses two sensors for exceptional accuracy: one tracks the cone shaft’s position, while the other monitors the motor. Together, they enable grind adjustments with an incredible precision of 0.001mm, delivering unparalleled grinding finesse.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily Cleaning

Wipe and purge the steam wand after each use to prevent milk buildup, rinse portafilters and filter baskets, clean the drip tray, and backflush the group head to remove coffee oils and residue.

Weekly Maintenance

Soak portafilters, baskets, and shower screens in an approved cleaning solution, inspect group head gaskets and screens, and perform a deeper backflush to keep internal components clean.

Long-Term Care

Maintain proper water filtration to prevent scale buildup and descale the machine as needed based on water quality and usage to ensure long-lasting performance and consistent espresso quality.
