Key Features
  • Pre-Infusion Circuit: The Slayer Steam Single features a dedicated pre-infusion water circuit, allowing for gentle saturation of the coffee bed. This pre-infusion step ensures more even extraction, leading to a well-balanced shot. You can program the pre-infusion time for up to 10 seconds, offering complete control over your brew.
  • Internal Reservoir for Easy Installation: An internal fresh water reservoir makes installation easy, whether you’re using the machine at home or in a mobile setup. The 2.5-liter reservoir allows for seamless, quick setup without the need for direct plumbing. However, for higher-volume service, an optional plumbing kit is available, allowing you to connect the Slayer Steam Single directly to a water line for continuous use.
  • Removable Drip Tray Basin: The removable drip tray adds convenience, especially for non-plumbed installations. Simply slide the tray out to dispose of wastewater. This feature is perfect for home baristas, coffee carts, and mobile applications. If you opt for a direct water line connection, the plumbing kit includes an automatic drain option to handle waste effortlessly.
  • Heads-Up Barista Dashboard™: The Heads-Up Barista Dashboard™ is a digital interface that provides complete control over the machine’s settings. This intuitive dashboard allows you to access recipes, adjust brewing temperature, initiate cleaning cycles, and activate energy-saving modes with just a few taps. Whether you’re making small tweaks or major adjustments, the dashboard ensures you’re always in control.
  • Record and Playback Function: Precision is key to great espresso, and the Slayer Steam Single makes it easy to record and playback your favorite shot settings. Dial in your shot manually while the machine records your settings, then save those settings for repeatable, volumetric output. You can save up to two recipes, giving you the ability to switch between your preferred espresso profiles quickly.
  • Individual Tank System: The PID-controlled individual tank system sets the Slayer Steam Single apart from other machines in its class. The brew tank and steam tank operate independently, allowing for precise temperature control and stability. The brew tank has a capacity of 0.8 liters and operates at 900 watts, while the steam tank holds 2.4 liters and runs at 2000 watts. This setup ensures you always have the right temperature for both brewing and steaming, even during extended use.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Daily Cleaning

Wipe and purge the steam wand after each use to prevent milk buildup, rinse portafilters and filter baskets, clean the drip tray, and backflush the group head to remove coffee oils and residue.

Weekly Maintenance

Soak portafilters, baskets, and shower screens in an approved cleaning solution, inspect group head gaskets and screens, and perform a deeper backflush to keep internal components clean.

Long-Term Care

Maintain proper water filtration to prevent scale buildup and descale the machine as needed based on water quality and usage to ensure long-lasting performance and consistent espresso quality.

Power Requirements
  • Voltage: 110V
  • Wattage: 1800W
  • Electrical: Standard North American outlet (dedicated circuit recommended)

Summary: It can run on a standard 110V outlet, making it well suited for coffee carts, small cafés, offices, and home espresso bars. Because it draws 1800 watts, it’s best to plug it into a dedicated 15–20 amp circuit, especially if you’re running other equipment (grinder, fridge, hot water tower) nearby. This setup is ideal for mobile coffee carts, where higher-voltage (220V) power isn’t always available.
